Beautiful and spacious room, we also made use of the garage, the location in the center was convenient, it allowed us to get around the city with the stroller, the treadmills were also nearby and the operators were very kind, it is the second time we have stayed here and not it will be the last.

Due anni fa mi è stato regalato un cofanetto Wonderbox (2 notti, 2 cene, 2 colazioni, per due persone). Non è stato facile utilizzarlo: tante scuse per non accettarlo, siamo al completo, non lo accettiamo per l'alta stagione, non lo accettiamo per i fine settimana.... Infine mi arrendo: l'hotel Charleston di Spoleto mi propone: 1 pernottamento, 1 cena, 1 colazione. Rassegnato, accetto; solo così ottengo la camera nella struttura, altrimenti sarei stato confinato in una dependance.... La cena è in un caffè-ristorante adiacente l'hotel. Qui ci viene presentato uno stringato "menù dedicato" a chi ha la convenzione con l'hotel: 2 portate più il dolce, bevande escluse. Chiedo una brocca di acqua del rubinetto, che mi viene poi fatta pagare € 1 (senza scontrino, per carità!). I piatti: insignificanti e senza sapori. Al checkout dall'hotel mi viene chiesto di pagare: € 4 la tassa di soggiorno, € 10 il garage per l'auto, e - con tutto quello cui abbiamo dovuto rinunciare (rammento, cofanetto Wonderbox dimezzato!) - anche € 2 per due caffè presi il giorno precedente. Non si vergognano di niente. Niente di tutto ciò è all'altezza di Spoleto patrimonio Unesco. Mai più Wonderbox, mai più hotel Charleston.

Due anni fa mi hanno regalato un cofanetto wonderbox ( 2 notti, 2 cene, 2 colazioni, X 2 persone, euro 230 ). Non è stato facile utilizzarlo: tante scuse per non accettarlo, siamo pieni, non lo accettiamo per il fine settimana, non per l'alta stagione. Mi arrendo. L'H. Charleston di Spoleto mi propone 1 notte, 1 cena, 1 colazione, rassegnata accetto. Solo così ottengo una camera nella struttura, altrimenti mi avrebbero confinato nella dependance! La cena è in una caffetteria- ristorante adiacente all'albergo. Andiamo il 20 e il 21 marzo 2025. Qui intanto ci viene presentato un "menù dedicato" a chi possiede una convenzione". Sono possibili due sole portate + il dolce, escluse le bevande. Prendiamo una brocca d'acqua del rubinetto e non prendiamo vino. Un euro (senza scontrino) la brocca d'acqua, gli strangozzi completamente insignificanti e privi di sapore. La mattina seguente consegniamo le chiavi della camera e ci viene comunicato che dobbiamo pagare 10 euro per il garage, 4 per la tassa di soggiorno e 2 per 2 caffè consumati il giorno precedente! NON SI VERGOGNANO DI NIENTE: anche i 2 euro per i caffè, con tutto quello cui abbiamo dovuto rinunciare ( rammento, ospitalità dimezzata).

La struttura presenta delle pecche oggettivamente ma l'ottimo posizione, il fascino di una struttura del 1600, la gentilezza e la cordialità dello staff fa' sì che l'esperienza sia risultata comunque positiva. Inoltre anche la cena inclusa nel pacchetto (in un locale di fronte alla struttura) è stata semplice ma decisamente positiva. Il buffet della colazione non è tanto vario ma in ogni caso i prodotti risultano di buona qualità, una menzione particolare per le torte che sono buonissime.

Ho scelto questo hotel principalmente per la location molto centrale ed ho ricevuto una ottima stanza, molto accogliente e pulita. Considerato che è un 3 stelle (un po' datato) offre un ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Se dovessi ritornare a Spoleto lo riconsidererò senz'altro.

Abbiamo trascorso un weekend in coppia tramite la prenotazione di una Smartbox. L' hotel si trova a ridosso del centro storico e da qui è possibile visitare a piedi tutti i luoghi d'interesse storico di Spoleto. La receptionist al nostro arrivo ci ha fornito della piantina di Spoleto con tutte le dovute spiegazioni di come muoverci. La camera comoda e accogliente, ben pulita e anche il bagno. Colazione ben fornita. L'hotel tipico palazzo medievale molto carino negli arredi. Personale gentilissimo e accogliente. Sicuramente da rifare.
